Several hotels in Seychelles have recently been rated by international magazines and Maia Luxury Hotel and Spa got a top mention in the prestigious Condé Nast Traveller. It has been voted as the top hotel for food in Africa by the travel magazine. The ratings were part of the Gold List Guide to the World’s Greatest Hotels for 2010.
Maia has a growing reputation for excellence that should now be enhanced by this award.
With creativity being the key in Maia’s kitchen, the resort makes the most of local ingredients to create fascinating dishes, all with the help of its highly skilled chefs.
The resort recently brought in five head chefs – George Billionis and Manchal Herch from the One & Only Royal Mirage Hotel in Dubai, Bansani Nawisamphan from Chiva Som, Sebastian Bernis from the Four Seasons George V Paris and home-grown talent Jean-Paul Nourrice.
